** This difficult 9-mile trek is not for beginner hikers, and is recommended for experienced hikers who are seeking a challenge! **

We will be hiking from the base of Mount Beacon, up to the casino ruins on North Mount Beacon, to the fire tower on South Mount Beacon. From there, we will traverse along the back side of Breakneck Ridge, and down to the Cornish estate ruins in Cold Spring before finally making our way to downtown Cold Spring. Upon arriving in Cold Spring, hikers are welcome to explore the village of Cold Spring and take the metro north back to the city on their own time.

For those of you who are familiar with Mount Beacon, Breakneck Ridge, and Mount Taurus/Bull Hill, this hike may be especially interesting to experience how these East Hudson mountains are all connected.
